Exquisite Japanese house puzzle box bank in excellent condition (missing one tiny front door handle) with working mechanisms, original key, and instruction sheet. Inlaid, veneered and painted features. It measures 4 inches across the front by 3 1/2 inches by 5 3/4 inches high to the peak of the roof. A 4-step process is used to open the lid: 2 movements expose a secret drawer holding a key. This allows the front doors to open revealing a brass lock mechanism which, when turned, will open the top.
