Abalone shell from the nearby Pacific has long been a popular traditional material for inlay in silver in Mexico’s silver city of Taxco. Each cuff link consists of a slightly domed sterling silver oval, with two inlaid wedges of polished abalone shell in beautiful shades of iridescent green, blue, and pink.Measurements: 1 3/4" w x 7/8" d x 5/8" t~6.2 g eaCondition: Very good vintage condition with a few dents on the back and one on one side, which appear to be a result of the hand making process. These have been recently polished to remove most of the patina. Normal wear for age and use. Please see all photos.
