A Balmacaan coat made with superfine wool worsted yarn and washi paper yarn.
The warp is made of New Zealand Super160's wool, and the weft is made of Super130's wool and washi paper yarn, woven at an extremely high density.
The finishing process includes Omi-zarashi (a traditional Japanese washing technique) and flat hammering, creating a natural texture with a subtle sheen.
This material is characterized by a unique blend of softness and firmness, combining supple, high-count wool with the rigidity of washi paper.
The coat is designed as a versatile long coat with a large back yoke and a deep center vent as accents.
