The hand-carved Heron is a one-of-a-kind original made by Artist Dick Marshall who owns the store DickMarshallWildfowl. The Heron is carved from Coastal Redwood which includes the tallest tree in the world in Northern California. It was carved from old-growth ancient redwood. It is salvaged wood from a tree that was hundreds if not a thousand years old when it died.
The Heron is mounted on a brass rod into a driftwood base. Size is approximately 12 x 9 x 4.5 inches.
