I believe this might be a first release of Kaya. She is stamped Pleasant Company 2002 on the back of her neck. I was told she was a display doll and never played with or even undressed. Everything about her looks to be perfect - her brown belt is intact (most are fraying and a wreck) and her moccasins are beautifully tied (so didn't remove them). Kaya still has the band around her neck - has never been removed. Her original braids feel soft and silky, holds a pose, and eyes open and close as they should. Kaya is a blast from the past!
