American Girl Doll pre - Mattel Josefina is stamped Pleasant Company 1 on the back of her neck, which I believe indicates she is a FIRST RELEASE. She is in gently used condition. She has silky soft shiny hair, which is perfect for brushing and styling. She has squeezable vinyl and soft eyelashes (all intact). She can hold a pose and is clean with no odors. One eye frequently needs a finger to open or close it. Josefina is wearing her meet outfit - skirt (tagged Pleasant Company 1997), camisa top, moccasins (the laces are quite brittle - didn't want to untie them and see them possibly shred), and woven belt. She also has her Rebozo shawl (tagged Made in India 1997 ) and blue hair ribbon (missing the flowers). Her American Girl pet goat, Sombrita, is NOT included. The white box is still in great shape.
