The amber in this ring does have a kind of sparkle from the inclusions when it catches the light. I believe it's referred to as Sun Spangle !
This lovely vintage art nouveau style ring is set with an oval cut Baltic amber cabochon. The amber cabochon sits on a slightly raised oval bezel with an ornate art nouveau wave scroll design to one side. The bottom of the shank is stamped on the outside with a Polish 925 lady's portrait mark with the letter G for Gdansk. There is a Polish makers hallmark stamp that I am unable to decipher.
Ring size: Q. The band is D shape and measures approximately 3mm in width. The large oval amber cabochon measures approximately 20m long x 16mm wide x 4mm high and the ring weighs about 8g
Conditions: The ring is in good vintage condition but as with all used jewellery items it may show some signs of wear. Please refer to the photos and short video as these form a part of the condition appraisal.
