This is a Very RARE book! Emil P. Herbruck was a German Reformed minister in Canton, Ohio, and son of a pioneer Ohio minister. In this locally published memoir he narrates his life story in an engaging literary manner and reflects upon the changes in his hometown and in American society that he has witnessed. Herbruck's book has more than local interest! He was a keen analyst and a natural storyteller. Students of American Social History and American Religious culture will read this with interest. Very rare and hard-to-find!
Hardbound book with tight binding and clean unmarked pages that are still white. There is a very small bit of fraying on the bottom corner of the front board and a small tear in the binding on the top spine, otherwise this book is nearly new lookng!
