This stunning antique textile features a hand-embroidered Japanese landscape with a pagoda, trees, boats, bridge, ducks, and the iconic Mount Fuji. This beautiful piece of textile was purchased in Japan around World War ll and brought back as a gift. The original owner never got around to making something out of this beautiful piece. of textile.
Please note that there are multiple areas of staining, some areas of fraying around the edges of the fabric. Some areas of embroidery have some loose strands. There are areas of stitching around edges and areas that are unstiched. Overall, the condition is good to fair for its age.
