1902 Ogden's LTD, Kid McCoy, PSA 4! Hall of Fame Boxer! [Mislabeled as 1901]
Kid McCoy tricked Tommy Ryan (who was known for showing very little mercy to opponents) into thinking he was sick. He rubbed flour on his face and pretended to be weak. Ryan fell for it and didn't properly train. McCoy won the match.
In another match, he was supposed to fight someone over 250 pounds. He noticed his opponent fought barefooted, so his corner threw tacks into the ring. The heavier fighter dropped his guard and McCoy knocked him out!
McCoy went 79 - 7 - 10. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1991.
