Golden Bear started in 1922 near San Francisco Bay, producing workwear for dockworkers. During World War II, they gained great fame for making flight jackets for the US Air Force Flying Tigers. Their high-quality varsity jackets (stadium jackets) are widely known in the Japanese American casual scene and are still loved as a good old American brand.
