Please see the photos for condition. It appears to be in overall good shape with normal wear from age and use (scuffing, scratches, etc) - I have not tried to clean or polish it in any way. The mug is made of pewter with a glass bottom by N.G. Wood & Son of Boston Massachusetts. There is a copper medallion on the front of the mug that reads Harvard Athletics Association 1874.
The etching on the mug reads:
