One of the coolest things I have owned! Being a lover of antiques that is saying a lot. It was made by a blacksmith, handle is smooth and fits well in your hand from multi years of use. Only reason I am selling is my age...time to start letting go. I wish I knew its age but I am guessing 1700s due to it being similar to other items I owned
