A stunning Scandinavian 1960's/70's art glass miniature vase with swirling bubble effect. Made by Ekenäs of Sweden, and designed by John-Orwar Lake, this piece is signed and labelled. The color palette contrasts beautifully with an almost corrosovise look at the base where the rusty red and forsest green meet; then contrasts into colors more reminiscent of a calm, clear day. Similar items are shown in the book Scandinavian Glass - Fire & Sea by Leslie Pina, pages 94 - 96.
Height of the vase approx. 6.25 . This is a relatively small piece.
The bottom of the vase is acid etched:

The label has a few creases, but is complete and intact.
Vase is in perfect condition outside of a tiny chip in the center of the base.
