This is a Hungarian folk art pottery bottle that has a green glaze and a cork stopper, possibly made in the mid-twentieth century. This bottle Butella flask was for a traditional drink called Pálinka. The cork has some writing on the red wax, but I cannot make out any text on the bottle itself. The wavy lines and designs are clear, and there are no chips or cracks; there is a small amount of crazing on the bottom. Overall, it is in wonderful condition and a great collectible bottle find. Please see the photos for the condition. The item measures 6 3/4 inches in height, 3 1/8 inches. I have not removed the cork; I simply cleaned the outside of the bottle, and it is sold as is.
