Great Yves St. Tropez (not St. Tropez) bright red pleated skirt with pearl buttons and hand sewing of hem. 100% silk, very luxurious silk that looks a little like a leather texture. Yves St. Tropez has been out of business for a long time, but in the 1960’s to 1970’s, this French company from Paris was just as trendy as Yves St. Laurent. The size says 40 European, but it fits like a size 2. The waist is 25.25”, length is 28”, and the hem flairs out to 90”. But the pleats keep the skirt tidy, since they compress the flair out by half, making the hem really just 45”. The pleats are beautiful. The bright red wonderfully textured silk is so unusual these days. This really looks like the early 1970’s. The vintage condition of this is pristine. Designed in France, Made In Italy. If you are lucky enough to be a size 2, this skirt is a beauty.
