Why is this rare? This production of Tag timepieces was shortly after the merger of Tag and Heuer when many will say they hadn’t yet decided on how to present the logo everyone sees today. 1985 produced some very fine pieces that were unique in style and functionality leading to the very prestigious brand we know today.The Sapphire crystal is nearly flawless without scratches or grooves.The timepiece is fully functional but the bracelet is separated as shown in the pictures.
