Ancient estate found drilled grinding mortar collected in the 1950s or 60s near the area of Anazasi ruins of Chaco or Canyon de Chelly in either AZ or NM. That is all the information that was available at time of acquisition. It is native whackstone or limestone/sandstone conglomerate. Museum grade. Pestles available in separate listings.
It measures ~13 L x 6 W x 3.5 H at the largest points. ~18 lbs. Condition is as in photos.
NOTE: All dimensions and weight approximate to the best of my ability on such a massive specimen. The stone is somewhat irregular and the largest dimensions are given.
