This is a beautifully framed and double matted 22.5 x 18.5 vintage (1989) Limited Edition piece from Stanton Arts and the US Postal Service commemorating Lou Gehrig - the Iron Horse. The piece includes a First Day cover Lou Gehrig postcard and first day of issue Lou Gehrig 25 cent stamp with postmark from Cooperstown NY, Lou Gehrig bio and lifetime stats, a Lou Gehrig silver leaf commemorative stamp and a Lou Gehrig Color Collage Lithograph (9 x7 ) Hand numbered 0251/9900 and signed in pencil by the artist. I rescued this from the side of the road and hope to give it a good home. Some very minor damage on frame lower left corner and bottom center of frame (see photos).
