This is a beautiful set of four mugs from McCoy’s pretty brown drip dinnerware line and Hull Pottery's oven proof tea pot. The mugs and teapot are from different makers but have the same Mid-Century brown drip glaze. All are signed. McCoy brown drip pottery was released in 1968 and had a whole line of cookery and bowls. These mugs are an excellent example of the line. Hull's Brown Drip Era spanned from the 1960s-1980s. Hull produced the brown drip dinnerware line, which included pieces like the chicken-covered casserole, as well as other kitchenware and novelty items. This particular teapot is a part of their Over proof line which is advertised to withstand the high temps of the stove and oven. Signed Hull Oven Proof USA on the bottom. Perfect set for Mid century pottery collectors. All pieces are in excellent vintage condition. The teapot has two chips on the inner side of the lid. They cannot be seen from the outside and do not effect the functionality of the piece.
