not rly sure about the inches and what not but it's big enough and fits in easy places . it will come with the little log shelter for your snake to go in . along with the water bowl . we have only used this once and only for a month or so because me n my mom don't like snakes . the night and day light are very good as well ( the night light turns on by itself , it is red )
