This Soviet Order of the Patriotic War 1st Class Type 3 (third type - anniversary issue , 1985) is in excellent condition with enamels in intact condition and is an original military decoration, The medal is made of silver, gold plated with red and white enamels, The order was awarded to soldiers, security troops, and partisans for heroic actions during the German-Soviet War. The First Class was the highest rank of the order, which was established on May 20, 1942. The reverse side of the medal has an engraved serial number 812792 and mint mark МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР on reverse with a screw plate. It measures 1.752 X 1.823 and weighs 26.1 grams not including the screw plate.
