This is an M47 from the French army, and it's a rare plain-weave variant. The M47 is divided into the early-model twill weave and the later herringbone weave, but this is a plain-weave model that was prototyped during a very short period between the early and late models. There are few of these, with some buyers saying they only see one in every 50.
