Inspired by vintage 50s-60s military pants worn by engineers who performed mechanical maintenance in the French Air Force, these French mechanic pants have been updated in terms of size balance and fine details, then washed and paint-treated.
Featuring a voluminous straight silhouette reminiscent of the M47, practical and functional parts are incorporated, such as patch pockets reminiscent of the US Army's Baker pants, large D-rings for side adjustment, and a tool pocket on the right thigh.
The back pocket is a single pocket specification like the original, and the front is a button fly with a hidden placket.
Herringbone tape adjusters are placed at the hem, allowing you to adjust the silhouette to your liking.
A hanger loop is also attached to the center of the waist lining.
Thick, rough fabric reminiscent of French military motorcycle pants, but made with a twill weave heavy cotton twill fabric that evokes the early M47.
The fabric is woven with loosely twisted, thick yarns mixed with Mexican Pima cotton, resulting in a slubby texture.
