
These moriage dragon ware pieces are made of bone china and have a relief dragon that stretches across the front with a dark matte background and gold on the handles. The cups are of a demitasse size and have a luster finish on the inside. Bottom of the cups are marked hand painted and have a paper sticker that says Japan . From the 1940s, these pieces made by Betson China are in very good condition...no chips or cracks. The cups hold about 2 oz. and the sugar bowl which has a lid measures 5.5 x 4 high. A definite upgrade to tea time or a cup of espresso.
