What a surprising find! This is a natural linen vintage roll towel. It appears to be made of mostly linen and perhaps some cotton thread within the colored stripes. However, it is just my guess. There are no tags or other identifying markings on this item. The towel is stitched together in one continuous loop to rotate on a dowel or through a dispenser. For a subtle decorative element, there are kelly green, yellow orange and white stripes running along both edges.
The towel measures about 18 x 82 and is in nice vintage condition. If you would like to repurpose this wonderful material, there probably would be enough fabric to make four average size kitchen towels or three large ones, or perhaps a farmhouse style table runner.
