Rare and exquisite vintage tea kettle and warmer stand set, crafted by the renowned Gorham Co.
Tea kettle is from the late 19th to early 20th century (1880’s - 1920’s) and considered a collectible antique piece
This stunning piece (standing approximately 10” tall) is made of hammered copper, exhibiting a rich, warm tone and classic design.
The kettle features a graceful, bulbous body, a fluted lid with a small finial, and a beautifully curved wooden handle. The bottom of the kettle is clearly marked GORHAM CO. with an additional mark Y75 , indicating its authenticity and craftsmanship.
The accompanying stand is equally impressive, featuring an openwork gallery design and four decorative legs ending in what appear to be paw feet. Within the stand is a holder for a burner (burner included, but fuel is not).
This piece would have been used as a chafing dish warmer, keeping tea or other beverages warm during entertaining.
