
Empire Style Gilt Bronze & Marble Center Piece, Early 19th Century of slender urn form in vigorously veined black and green marble. Demi-figure handles, with marble pedestals and a tapered plinth. It features fine chasing and casting to the bronze elements - lid is not removable - shallow enough in depth to fit most fireplace mantels - could also be electrified as lamps - unsigned - France - early 19th century.
It shows a couple spots that look like cracks but seems to blend in with the marbling. On one side there are a few scratches. (See pics in sure a professional could get those taken care of) Otherwise it's still beautiful condition - - no restoration has been done - some oxidation to the gilt bronze fittings - signs of age and use.
She stands 19 tall base is 4.25 inches wide the weirdest point is 6.5 inches.
