Absolutely stunning hand painted Peruvain Folk Art Ceramic Pucara Horse Figurine Candle Holder.
The Horse of Pucara or Caballo de Pucara is a handmade figurine created by local artisans in the southern part of Peru, as a reminder of the history and power of the horse to the Inca Culture.
Intricately decorated with ornately detailed designs and a beautiful floral motif, all hand painted in vividly bold colors.
There is an opening in the top center of back that can hold a taper candle, or use as a pen or pencil holder.
Measures approx. 7 H x 6 1/2 L.
