Signed R. James Hand Blown Organic Abstract Studio Art Glass With Applied Flowers and Vines Wrapped Thick Layered Encased Art Glass Vase Possibly James R. Wilbat, but the signature doesn't match. He does have a very similar vase currently listed on his website. This beautiful vase sings "Spring" and "Happy" to me, in a fantastic organic shape, was made of thick cased glass with the famous sommerso technique. With the particular combination of vibrant colors in shades of emerald green, white, then cased in transparent or clear with beautifully molded 3D flowers cross the entire surface.It features a gorgeous perfect grass green with possibly mother of pearl or dichroic (glitter metallic) for iridescence. The roses and vines were all created and applied hot using variations of pink, lavender purple, and blue glass.
