Recent piece on a precut watercolor paper, it doesn't enjoy deckling so it has the precut edge. Gouache can react to water. This was finished with a fixative but it isn't a piece you want moisture around. All professional grade materials.I started with an illustration, wasn't vibing so I did an ink pour. Once that dried out I visualized a deep quiet moss covered forest. Light illuminated, yet deep, and dark. A moody piece to gaze at and try to imagine the rest of the woods within.Unfortunately this paper, just hates tape so a corner has paper lift and piling. When in a matboard or traditional frame, it is not visible. I have chosen to not provide a wall ready option, so you can match your own decor.
