It is magnificently glazed in a blue and purple luster under glaze, with an iridized random blue satin lustre over drip glaze. It is signed by Fairman, and dated '94' for 1994. Bruce Fairman’s studio is in Sacramento, California in a flourishing artist colony. He graduated from Sacramento State University in Studio Art, and initially trained as a production potter for ten years. Eventually, he became one of the chief designers for Doris Designs, a porcelain jewelry manufacturer. In in his early pottery career, Fairman studied classic vessel forms, the influence of which can still be seen today. All of Bruce’s pottery is made from either porcelain or white stoneware clay, and each piece is created individual. Please look a the photo's, as they are part of the description. Thank you
