Such a swingin dress from a swingin era of the late 1950s, early 1960s cusp period where the garment has both 50s and 60s elements. Diggin the shimmering woven deep ice blue satin on a sleeveless wiggle dress with wasp waist and back kickpleat. A fantastic faux belted waist with bow cleverly cascades up the bodice to a very deep and dramatic collar in a lux ivory velveteen lined in ice blue silk chiffon and decorated with 2 self bows. Loving the deep portrait neckline and the overall construction of this yummy cocktail/party dress by McArthur Ltd. Condition is very good with back metal zipper. There is a small snag (see pics) in the front skirt of the dress, which fades in varying light. There is also slight yellowing underneath the collar on the back, this is not seen and not dark at all, quite faint but worth noting. Also a bit of faint soiling on the waist bow, again barely noticeable. Waist-28, Bust-36, Hips-36-38, Bodice Length-15, Dress Length-42, Shoulders-15-16.
