Such a pretty all-occasion dress from the cusp period of the late 50s-early 60s where two decades' influences blend into one gorgeous dress in a cool and comfy bright white linen-like rayon blend is used to create a very simple line, a no-fuss kind of dress with a lovely pencil line skirt with back pleat, a fitted bodice with a very deep portrait neckline, AND THESE SLEEVES!!! This is where you find the drama, made of contrasting eggshell silk organdy with large embroidered white flowers with wave-like alternating fabric also embroidered along the edges. They create a cape-like effect in their depth and tuckpleated shoulders. This lovely dress is in gorgeous condition with original belt and back metal zipper. Measurements are: waist-30, bust-38, hips-40, shoulders-15, bodice length-16, dress length-45.
