This is an unused, unsewn bolt of kimono fabric.

I think it might be a紬 (tsumugi) weave with a slight knotty texture, but it looks like evenly spaced dots, so that weaving technique might have been used.

The color transition from a persimmon-orange terracotta to a reddish dark brown is stunning.

At first glance, it looks like a simple gradient fabric, but the real thing has a casual feel and a subtle, exquisite luster and depth of color that is truly beautiful.

I thought it might be a dyed komon (small pattern) fabric, but judging from the selvedge threads, I think it's a pre-dyed tsumugi weave.

There are no noticeable flaws at first glance, and it's in relatively good condition.

I checked about 1 meter of the fabric, but I haven't checked the rest, so there may be flaws inside.
Please understand that I am selling it at a lower price because of this.

How about using it luxuriously for handmade crafts or remaking?
I personally make kimono remake clothes with Western tailoring, and I recommend it because it's much easier to start with a bolt of fabric since you don't have to take apart a kimono.

Bolts of fabric will basically be shipped folded small after removing the core.
