This wonderful art deco style sterling silver bookmark, in the shape of a skyscraper, was made for the Waxfree Havoline Exhibit at the 1933 Worlds Fair.
The building represents 1933 Chicago World's Fair Havoline Thermometer at the Century of Progress International Exposition 1933. At the time this was the World's Tallest Thermometer.
On the bookmark is etched the building levels, A question mark, windows and trees at the bottom, and thermometer measurement lines at the top.
The back is stamped STERLING-WHE (WHE is Waxfree Havoline Exhibit)
