1920-50s English made smoking box in the art deco style.

availability: in Stock
$68.75  $65.31

This box is 3 1/2 in high by 10 and 1/2 in Long by 5 and 1/2 inches wide and the inside is one and three quarter inches deep. It is a beautiful example of a 1920s art deco smoking box built to house cigarettes, cigars, and other smoking accessories to keep them all in one located and fancy place. Remember when smoking first came out it was a way to show off and show status as well. Even down to the pure solid sterling silver lighters and cigarette cases they came out with. There is absolutely no defects on this box whatsoever it is in near mint condition and has been taken care of extremely well I've seen many many boxes and most have separations and serrations to place different types of smoking paraphernalia. But this is just a great example of lap joint composition with absolutely no metal fasteners and held together by joint work and glue.to this day almost 100 years old it is still as sturdy as it was the day that it was built.Feel free to make an offer because all are accepted.
