
This antique English-made children's sterling silver cup, hallmarked with the Birmingham sterling silver hallmark, includes the traditional mark of a lion passant (lion walking). The cup has an aristic handle made with multiple scroll designs. The coin mark in front of the cup is engraved Anna B. H Michell from Uncle W.J.C.H. Christmas, 1903 . The body is embossed with a cloud pattern, and beads are decorated around the base of the cup.
The cup is 3 5/16 tall. The handle is 4 1/4 tall. The base is 3.0 broad. The mouth is 2 3/8 wide. The weight is 141.5 grams. The cup is in excellent condition, except for a small dent on the base, which is noticeable. This is a heavy, sturdy cup, very well made, highly collectible.
