This is another beautiful jewelry set from my mother's collection. Instead of having these sitting in a box in a drawer I believe it makes more sense for someone to wear, enjoy and appreciate them. She had exquisite taste in jewelry and just in general.
This is a complete vintage Trifari collection including a bracelet, a brooch and earrings. Absolutely gorgeous. Light catching and dramatic. I'm estimating them at the late 1950's based on the fact the the logo has a crown and on the following excerpt:
Somewhere around 1955, Trifari made it so that their mark also had a copyright symbol. This design would appear on the jewelry made anytime between 1955 and 1969. For example, the highly popular fruits and vegetable Trifari pins also featured this mark.
The brooch weighs 0.86 troy ounces and is 1 7/8 in diameter.
The earrings are 0.56 troy ounces and are 1 1/8 long.
The bracelet is 0.92 troy ounces and is approximately 1/2 long.
