This beautiful 1950s' cream colored straw hat consists of a medium height crown surrounded by a medium brim. The weaving of the straw is beautiful and is softer thanother hats of the era. There is a draped matching color fabric band around the crown, and a thick hairpin with a little ball head made of the same straw is inserted at one side of the front. There is a small bow at the back.Lebel: There is an illegible printed label on the inside hatband, which most likely is a consumer protection label.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
