This is an adorable 1960's navy straw hat. The structure consisted of a round, flat top, and no brim. The inside has a very wide navy grosgrain band to help keep the hat'sshape. The front is adorned by an array of off-white fabric "roses" and leaves. There is a blue veil that can be worn covering the face partially, or tucked among the roses. The veil is gathered at the top front, as seen in the photos.There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, furs, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
