US Military Surplus
Backpack-style bladder bag made of canvas fabric, deployed from the 1940s.
A large hydration bag.
Originally, it came with a dedicated bladder with an aluminum mouthpiece, but it's not suitable for hygienic use. It's also stated that replacement general-purpose bladders cannot be used, so it's likely intended for use as a backpack.
As it's a bag designed to carry a 5-gallon bladder, it's built to withstand a weight of at least 20kg, equivalent to a standard jerrycan.
1951 contract.
Deadstock, unused.
External dimensions: 45x57cm, flat without a gusset.
Type: Military bag
