This framed jewelry art was created using a 2" x 1.5" dark blue and off-white cameo of a girl with a fairy encircled in a gold case with amber colored gems. The Cameo is mounted on a black background and is in a beautiful gold frame. The frame is 6" x 6" square and was thrifted so it is imperfect, but I loved it with this Cameo so purchased it nonetheless. This art is not for the perfectionist purchaser, the frame has some scratches (examples shown in pics) and I made the frame work for the Cameo so it is very imperfect on the back (but of course the back doesn't show when it's displayed)--please view pics carefully for condition of front and back of frame. The Cameo looks great in the frame so I used it knowing it would be imperfect. You don't notice the scratches when the piece is displayed. This Cameo was sold to me as vintage although I believe it to be a reproduction though it isnonetheless unmistakably beautiful!
