Robin Evan Roberts was a Major League Baseball (MLB) starting pitcher who played primarily for the Philadelphia Phillies. He also played for the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros, and Chicago Cubs. In 1976, Roberts was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Roberts never missed a start in the 1950s and had a streak of 28 consecutive complete games between 1952 and 1953.
