This is an extremely rare Legend of Zelda Triforce pen, as sold in the Fall/Winter Nintendo Power Supplies catalog of 1994.
I don’t know what metal it’s actually made of as the original description did not list it but this is a very heavy pen. The pen can be refilled with any pen refill so it can still be used today.
It looks as though it was a limited supply item when it was new in 94, also based on its catalog listing. To my knowledge this was the only way to get it 30 years ago. I’ve seen no evidence of it being a Nintendo employee giveaway or anything similar.
Included with the pictures of this listing are pictures of the original catalog and item blurb from Nintendo Power merch catalog in 1994. This is to show provenance as being official Nintendo of America merchandise.
