Antique Summit House Mt. Washington NH Cog Railway White Raised Applied Decoration Blue Pitcher
This is such an exciting and kinda strange find for collectors of New Hampshire's Mount Washington history and lore. From the side it is a pretty blue pitcher with raised white floral detail and a branch-like handle and spout.
When you turn it frontward, this is where it gets interesting. There is a very detailed image that appears to be hand painted of the cog railway wending its way up the mountain to the Summit House which at one time was an actual hotel on the mountain. It was built in 1873 and burned down in 1908. Fantastic!
