For those in the know, vintage jeans.
From my husband's collection.
Original Lee 101B from around the mid-1960s.
While Levi's gets all the attention these days, this is from the same era as the early BIGE, and the silhouette and aging unique to Lee are cool.
A button-fly model with fewer buttons than a zipper, and early details among those with size markings.
UNION MADE on the top of the inner tag
Inner tag, patch, and piss name with MR only
Back pocket reinforcement cloth + union ticket
Both selvedge
There are scratches and stains typical of an old item, and there is a small repair on the right knee, but the fabric is generally thick, and there is no deterioration of the buttonholes or inner thighs.
Beautiful vertical fading typical of Lee's right-hand twill, I think it's in good condition for something over 60 years old.
The hem is chain stitched, but I think it has been hemmed.
There are roll-up marks from when it was purchased.
My 172cm tall husband rolls them up to this position, and it creates a nice tapered silhouette that hits at the ankle.
The reason I like the 101 is the beautiful back silhouette thanks to the widely spaced back pockets. These are genuine vintage jeans with a refreshing fade!
I would be happy to sell them to someone who appreciates the real thing.
Waist 40cm

Please be sure to ask any questions before purchasing. I may not be able to, but I'm open to discussing the price, perhaps around 10% off.
Thank you for your consideration.
