1970s Australian Royal Army Wool Twill Battle Dress Pants. The size is a very rare 24 inches.
As it's from the Australian Royal Army, the inner tag is printed with the Broad Arrow, which certifies military supplies of the British Commonwealth forces (Britain, Australia, Canada), which is irresistible.
The waist has two tucks and is made roomy, and the silhouette is an exquisite straight, with a stunningly beautiful line when worn.
The right front of the waist has a coin pocket, which is only found on dress pants, and the loop placed above it is not sewn to the pants, showing the functional design of the time.
The fabric is a vibrant wool twill, quite sturdy and highly durable.
As they are battle dress pants, they can be worn with both military and dress or casual styles, and I am personally surprised by their versatility.
I personally wore them with Barbour, etc.
I would like to sell them to someone who will cherish them.
