I have had this since the original purchase date, on a shelf in my wardrobe. I wanted it, but I never used it. I continued to use the Surface Pro device. Then, my return period expired, and I was unable to return.
Amazon is currently selling this device (RENEWED), which is 2nd hand and refurbished for over 1000.
I worked in the big business laptop/computer sales, and customers would request this version often even after it was discontinued.
But of course, it's sold as is. However, faults at retail are rare but can happen.
