This is a prayer rug, also called a prayer mat.
Purpose:
Muslims use it to provide a clean space for prayer.
Design:
The arch-shaped design at one end is called a mihrab, which indicates the direction of Mecca, the direction Muslims face when praying.
Material:
Prayer rugs can be made of various materials, including wool, silk, or synthetic fibers.
Usage:
The worshipper places the rug between themselves and the ground during prayer.
